Education planning is directed by the strategic work of the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate and considers the future nursing and midwifery workforce development needs and alignment with the organisations’ healthcare service goals & targets.
The aim of nursing and midwifery education within the Professional Development Unit is to support the development of nursing and midwifery education planning and future workforce development across the Waikato District Health Board.
