The following provides a list of services available within the Waikato region that can help with a range of social issues.  

It is grouped by district and there is a list of nationwide 24 hour help lines on the last page.   You can also search for services by category and location through www.linkage.co.nz/webhealth

Your general practitioner (GP) will be able to assist you but if you require help urgently, please contact any of the following at any time of the day or night:

SF Waikato aims to provide the best possible family support, advocacy, information and education for family whanau of people experiencing a mental illness.
Family workers provide this free service one on one at the office, in the home or other place that suits. A Kai Awhina worker can offer a cultural awareness perspective. Family whanau are offered education/support groups and the use of an extensive library.
